Over the last fortnight, I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing the next leader of the Lib Dems. Bith Jo Swinson and Sir Ed Davey are energetic, enthusiastic and engaging. They even get on and were nice about each other. In the coming weeks one of them will be chosen by party members to lead their party, succeeding Sir Vince Cable.
I interviewed them for The House magazine:
- Jo Swinson: “I’d love to be Prime Minister. Politics is more volatile than ever, so who knows?
- Ed Davey: “The Lib Dems can be the new home for the politically homeless”
